We went to Endsleigh Garden Centre the other day, I always like to go up around Christmas Time because the Christmas Tree displays are stunning. I tried to take some photos with my mobile phone but they were rubbish. Mark had his N95 so I grabbed that and took some photos to share - they are not great but you get the idea. If you live near Plymouth it is well worth a trip just to see these gorgeous displays in person. The first one was my favourite and was called The Botanic - you can't see the beauty of it here but it had beautiful butterflies on it.

Firstly the 'not so fun' stuff. Mum was taken into hospital. She went to visit my Nan in hospital recently who is almost 90 and was in the stoke ward have suffered from multiple strokes whilst on holiday in Portugal with my Mum. The following week Mum was feeling really ill and eventually admitted to hospital where she was kept in isolation. It seems that she contracted C. Diff whilst she was visiting my Nan and it is really not very nice. Luckily she is back home now and feeling much better although not out of the woods yet. Fortunately I live just across the road from her.
Now for the 'fun stuff' :) I have been being hassled for months by some of the parents at my childrens school to do a craft class for them and somehow I have been roped into teaching Christmas crafts to the Mum's of our school and another local primary for one morning a week until Christmas. The first class was on Thursday and we had a great time. I taught them all (mostly NOT papercrafters) how to make a pop up christmas card and they were absolutely brilliant! Everyone enjoyed it and completed the project in the alloted time so I was really pleased. Here are some of the girls hard at work:
I can't wait until next week when I am going to show them how to make a
really good photo frame for those special christmas snapshots.
Also this week I attended the Plymouth evening crop run by Lisa who works in our local scrapbooking shop Totally Crafty (well worth a visit for scrapping, cardmaking, cross stitch, quilting and beading supplies!!). I had a brilliant time and Lisa has got the perfect location and mix of people. I loved talking to everyone and catching up with Fiona and Bee who I haven't seen for too long was lovely. I am looking forward to next time.
Ben and Charlotte have had a good day today as the had their swimming lessons first thing this morning and then at 4.30pm they had a kids club where they do an hour of sport and then an hour of swimming. They are always on a high when they come out of this club as they absolutely love it.
Amy has a bit of a cold at the moment but she is doing really well and it feels like she has been here forever even though it is only two months tomorrow.

The Bellaboo November kit "Fairytale in Newyork" is ready for purchase and it is so pretty with it's snowy and teal theme. I loved creating these layouts for the newsletter and have plenty more stash left in the kit to play with but unfortunately I ran out of time!
I have made the decision to leave the Bellaboo Design Team but if you are a customer of Liberty's you may win the chance to Guest Design for her one month! Go and check out her
website for details.
Also,
Mojoholder went live tonight and we used a gorgeous layout by Molly Peckham as our inspiration, this week. This was my layout but do pop over and see what the rest of the Design Team have come up with as there is loads of inspiration on the site.
Well, I am going out now for a night with the girls and I am really looking forward to it. I am timing this post so that it goes up after Mojoholder but by then I will have probably had a few too many glasses of the red stuff!
