I was tagged by
Sarah a few weeks ago but have only just got around to doing it (Sorry Sarah!), This is what I am supposed to do:
- Go to your photos folder in your computer
- Go to the sixth folder
- go to the sixth picture in that folder
- Add that picture to your blog and add a description of it
- Invite six friends to join in the challenge
- Link them in your blog and let them know that they have been challenged.
Well, I can do the first four but I think most people I know have received this tag and I don't want to annoy them by sending it again (I would tag my sister but she is having 'puter problems at the moment so I don't think she will be able to do it).
Anyway, here is my 6/6 photo:
This is a photograph I took just after Christmas with my 'point and shoot' camera in MacDonalds whilst we were waiting for Daddy to get the food - there was a massive queue. Some teenage girls had just left the table beside us and had given Ben and Charlotte their toys from the Happy Meals they had just eaten.

I can't believe that Mojoholder is on it's 100th challenge but we are!
Today we are featuring Robyn Weatherspoon and I really enjoyed using the sketch for this one.
This was my take on the sketch,I usually scan my layouts but this one just wouldn't go in the scanner because it is too lumpy (lots of 3d foam!!) so I had to take a photograph.

I love this little crown album and so does Charlotte (Amy isn't really interested because she is not allowed to scribble on it!).
This is by Scrapping Clearly, the quality of these albums is second to none they are so sturdy and gorgeous to work with. I did this album at the Plymouth crop a couple of weeks ago.

Who doesn't love cupcakes? I like eating them the same as everyone else but the word cupcake is quite relevant to me because it was a nickname of mine at school. I was 'blessed' with the very unusual, quite micky-taking-ish maiden name of Cakebread! Oh how I laughed when people called me everything from Jam Sandwich to Cak-er-bre-ad. They all thought they were original and not one of them ever was! Anyway, one of the ones that kind of stuck was Cupcake and I didn't mind that too much, it suited me I suppose because I was also very short at school (didn't grow to my current 5' 7" until later on) and people thought I was little and cute!
When I attended Stitches last year I sat and made a cute little cupcake card and I was really happy with it because I had thought of it the night before and it really took me all day to create, I took ages to work out the template and get it right. It's so awful when something is in your head but you just can't get it out! Well, eventually I did and I was doing a happy dance.
Before I show the pictures I must mention why it has taken me over a year to post it to my blog. I returned from Stitches and the cupcake was going to be a project on the Scrapdreamie blog, however one of the DT contacted me to inform me that my cupcake was a class somewhere on the internet and, as such, could not be used! I was stunned because I know that I made it up as I went along! I searched and searched the web using all manner of search terms and never did find that other cupcake and I really wish I could because I would love to see it, it's amazing that two people can come up with exactly the same idea. Anyway, I was upset and a little insulted that it was insinuated I copied when I didn't but, hey ho, I have always loved this little project so I thought I would eventually share it on my blog.
I loved it so much that I made another one when I got back from the show :)
I thought about posting these cupcakes after doing this layout for
DoCrafts last week.
Have a good day :)

I have been busy scrapping this week and also looking forward to the Plymouth crop on Saturday so that I can catch up with Fi, Linda, Jill and the girls. I can't share my layouts as they are for The Scrapbook Magazine but I have just realised that I haven't posted the layouts that are in the current issue (35) accompanying my article on Scraplifting.
These images are just quick scans that I took before I posted the layouts off, the top one has some shadowing on it and the bottom scan hasn't caught the bottom of the layout. I was thrilled that Lee Jepson (the editor) chose the 'Can't Stop Laughing' layout as her 'pick' :)
It seems that Plymouth has completely escaped the snow, we had one little flurry which settled on the ground but melted in a few hours. I don't particularly like snow but I am incredibly miffed that I haven't got some lovely wintery and snowy photographs to scrap!
In about two weeks time work is going to start on my craft room. It is currently a shed (with no roof) which is built on the back of the house but will hopefully become a lovely craft room leading off of the kitchen. I have planned the layout and decided on storage and furniture, I just have to get it all now and start organising whilst the work is being done so that everything is ready to go. I am so excited!!

I did mention that I made this journal in a previous post (some time ago) but I never got around to posting the pictures. I made this journal last year before we took the kids to Haven so that I would have something to record each days activities. It was really fun to make. The pages are cut from chipboard sheets and covered with Scenic Route papers - the album was bound together with a Bind-it-All and the WHOLE thing was spritzed with Glimmer Mists!! You can't see it in the photographs but it really shimmers in real life.
click the image to see it largerMojo #97 went live last night (nearly at 100!!). Our guest was the lovely
Mara May. Pop over and see what the girls did with this:
Here is my attempt. No a great image of the layout because I need to get new drivers for my scanner, but you can get the idea!
Supplies: Paper: Crate; Alphas: Basic Grey, American Crafts; Cardstock: Bazzill Malt; Ribbon: Piggy Tales, From some gift wrapping; Tag: Price tag from some clothes.Have a great weekend :)
