I haven't blogged for ages! I don't know where the time is going at the moment. I seem to be spending every waking hour running after Amy (who is definitely entering those terrible twos!) or surfing the net and browsing the Ikea catalogue for ideas on how to lay out my craft room! It is so hard, I just can't decide what to have - it's not a massive space and I want so much in there!!
Mojoholder went live on Friday night with a lovely guest layout from Kimberley Garofolo Neddo of the Sassafras design team. As usual I provided a sketch to go with the layout. Here is my take on the sketch:
This is a really old photo of Charlotte but it is one that I really love, I have used the Scenic Route Love Line collection of papers, they are one of my all time favourites!
I must say a huge thanks to the lovely
Patti who gave me this award:
She did this weeks ago, but my lack of blogging has stopped me from having time to choose 8 people to have this award. This is what I must do
This award means -
These
blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to be friends.
They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when
the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are
propagated. Please give more attention to these kind writers. When you
pass the award along please include these guidelines. I am to choose
eight friends to share this with.
So I am going to give this award to the following lovely people:
1.
Mum2.
Carol3.
Jakey4.
Fiona5.
Cathe6.
Lee7.
Angie8.
PaulaWell, it is almost time to pick up the kiddies from school. I had to ask a friend to drop them off this morning as I had forgotten to change the time on my alarm clock and whilst Ben and Charlotte were ready for school at 8.30am Amy and I were still in our PJ's! I must remember to change the time before I go to bed tonight!

Just a quick photo to show that there is now a door in the kitchen which will eventually lead to my craft room.

It has been one of those months were I have had loads to blog about but just haven't had the time to do it!
We have had Bens birthday, he is now a big boy seven. He got the Heelies that he has wanted forever! He even had enough birthday money to buy himself a new big boys bike! Lucky boy :)
I have had the Plymouth crop and had a lovely day. I have just tried to take some photos of the layouts I did but the light is awful so I will post those another day.
Work is still going on for my craft room and the kitchen wall now has a large hole in it ready for a doorway. It is a mess in the kitchen. It is beginning to look like a room and the electrics are being laid so I am getting even more excited. It should be finished by the end of April.
Oh *#*?*#!
Here is a little card that I made recently, I love the Sugar Nellie stamps but this is my favourite one! Coloured with copic markers and the papers are from the Once Upon A Time stack by DCWV.

Mojoholder has 'gone live' tonight featuring a gorgeous layout by Jill Godon - I absolutely love the clean lines of this layout. However, I wanted to change it a little so I did mine a little more grungy because it seemed to match the photos of Ben really well.
My layout:
I made a great discovery when doing this layout! I put the white Basic Grey rub-ons on the page and they spoiled the layout because they were too bright! So I tried colouring over them with my copics and it worked!! Also the edges of the layout are all distressed but it didn't all scan :(
I had better go, I have a few things to do as I am going to a crop tomorrow - can't wait to see the girls and have a yap! I usually do more yapping than scrapping but who cares?

...waiting for Mark to get home from Totem Timber so that I can go into town and buy a certain little boy some birthday pressies!
Why Totem Timber you may ask! Well, work started on my craft room yesterday - not that it looks much like a craft room at the moment. When Charlotte came home from school yesterday she said 'Mummy, your craft show looks rubbish!'. I told her that when it was done she was going to be very jealous and want to be in there with me all the time :)
Here are some pictures so far, the roof frame is being installed.
Mmmm, quite a bit of work to be done then!
Here is a layout which I made from the WR Memory Keepers Nonsense range, it has to be one of my favourite ranges of paper for a long time!
I am re-reading Ken Follett's "Pillars of the Earth', I bought the sequel "World Without End" and I read Pillars so long ago that I wanted to refresh my memory before reading it. I am so glad I did because I have only just started it and I am loving it all over again!
Have a good Tuesday :)
