I just wanted to do a little something creative the other day and as all three children were in the craft room with me it had to be something little! I haven't made an ATC for ages so that is what I made. It is really pretty in real life - the photo doesn't really show the colours on the acetate butterfly wings which I coloured with my copics.
Supplies: Hambly paper and overlay; Hero Arts Butterfly stamp; string; staples; paper from American Crafts; Hero Arts Scalloped Border stamp; Studio G alphabet stamps; Stazon Ink; Ranger Paint Dabber (Watermelon).
I had a nice day yesterday (despite not feeling 100%) as I went to Jill's for a Stampin' Up party and I was really restrained in my purchases! I couldn't resist the Choc Chip ink pad and cardstock though and I finally succumbed to the Stampin' Up Stamp Scrub and Mist because I have it on good authority (You Know Who You Are!) that it is the best Stampin' Up purchase to be made. I came home from the party happy to have seen all the girls between crops (and v. happy to see Heli who I haven't seen for ages). I made a make-shift roast (hadn't been shopping but managed to throw a decent attempt together anyway) and sat down to watch Top Gear and On Thin Ice with a box of Thornton's Choccies!
I was supposed to be sorting out my patterned papers last night but the chocolates were more appealing. I may do that today but I am still debating whether to sort them by colour or by manufacturer.

I wonder who that good advice came from?? ;):P It was lovely to see you and looking forward to seeing you again a week on Saturday :D

I sorted all my paper out a few weeks ago by colour after nearly 7 years of having it by manufacturer LOL! I bagged it all by colour and pattern so started with red-stripes, red-spots and circles, red-geometric, red-textured, red-flowery and red-others! Took me ages to do but I find it so much easier now and I have a fairly good memory of the papers I do have which helps.
