First Day of School
Ben and Charlotte went back to school today after an eight week break for the summer! There was much excitement in the house this morning as they started a new school which has just been built; this meant that they not only had a new uniform to wear but a different colour too. I was really pleased with the decision to go with red uniforms for the school as it looks so lovely on them and it is much more cheerful than the bottle green they were wearing at the old school.
I actually managed to get a few photographs of them today as I was extremely organised this morning due to the panic of getting up early enough to get the kids to school for the first time in weeks and the uncertainty of timings getting to the new school. I was up before 6.30 am (unknown time for me!) and showered, dressed and nails painted (yep, i did that too!) before the children woke up.
They were buzzing when they came out of school today and I don't blame them because I went for an open day last Monday and I was utterly gobsmacked at how lovely it is! They are very lucky to be going to such a state of the art school, I wish I could go!
Let's hope they have such a good day tomorrow,

Ahh! They look so cute with those big eyes and smiles! I agree the red looks fab - I had bottle green many years ago and hated it!! xx

I loved seeing Ben and Charlotte when they visited me after school yesterday they look so gogeous in their new uniform and the colour is lovely with their blonde hair and blue eyes.
Grandad is jealous because he wants to see them in the new uniform.
