Just sharing a layout that I made at the last plymouth crop. Charlotte was sulking because the children in the street were playing piggy in the middle and as she was the smallest they kept putting her in the middle and she was stuck there. Shame!
I usedf my gorgeous Martha Stewart doily border punch on it and also Stampin' Up's spiral punch to get the notebook effect down the edge - I think these are my two favourite punches (but I also love my WRMK Chomper!).
Ben and Charlotte are loving their new school. Charlotte has taken a bit of a shine to her new teacher, it is the first time she has had a male teacher and she keeps calling him Mr Lovely instead of his actual name. It was quite embarrassing when I picked her up last night!! He said he is working with Charlotte to put her hand up when she wants to speak - good luck with that Mr Lovely!
Ben and Charlotte went back to school today after an eight week break for the summer! There was much excitement in the house this morning as they started a new school which has just been built; this meant that they not only had a new uniform to wear but a different colour too. I was really pleased with the decision to go with red uniforms for the school as it looks so lovely on them and it is much more cheerful than the bottle green they were wearing at the old school.
I actually managed to get a few photographs of them today as I was extremely organised this morning due to the panic of getting up early enough to get the kids to school for the first time in weeks and the uncertainty of timings getting to the new school. I was up before 6.30 am (unknown time for me!) and showered, dressed and nails painted (yep, i did that too!) before the children woke up.
They were buzzing when they came out of school today and I don't blame them because I went for an open day last Monday and I was utterly gobsmacked at how lovely it is! They are very lucky to be going to such a state of the art school, I wish I could go!
Let's hope they have such a good day tomorrow,
