Oh where does the time go? I have been a busy bee lately and I have really gotten back into knitting (did you notice?). So much so that I sort of walk into my craft room and think 'should I sell all this stuff?'. The logistics of selling all the stuff in my craft room are a nightmare and I couldn't possible chuck it all away or even give it away it would be such a waste of money. That said, I occassionally see something on Pinterest which makes me really want to do some papercrafting and I sort of love that I have all that stuff in my craft room should the kids need anything. On top of all that I do really want to do a Disney album and I would really like to still do the odd layout of the kids as they are growing up, it's just that I don't seem to ever do it anymore. Don't get me wrong I still love it but I would rather make something more useful like a sweater or a hat or even crochet a blanket!
I don't know where this came from or when it happened but I think it has something to do with Mark finally working in the same city and being able to come home every night. I would just rather sit in the lounge with him than hole myself away in the room (no matter how lovely it is) at the back of the house.....
....and the craft room would make a great den!
I don't know, I am not going to do anything about it just yet but this has been bubbling away for a while and I think I have only actually done two layouts this year. hmmm, yes, just the ones I recorded for the blog and that is it!!! Shocking, I used to do about 2-3 a week!
Anyway, back to the knitting! I have just finished the most beautiful cardigan by Sweaterbabe (I love their stuff) using Rowan Kid Classic yarn that I managed to get for an absolute bargain in the sale at Knits in the City.
The back has a beautiful little peplum frill but I couldn't get a photo of it.
I did finish my Rock Island shawl but I need to get some photographs of that and I have also recently made Charlotte a pair of socks, Amy a little sleeveless jacket and finished my Peerie Flooers mittens. I will share some of these soon :)
