A few months ago I made some cards for Papercraft Essentials showing how to use an individual stamp to create a background and then how effective it is to colour only parts of the background.
I really enjoyed making these. I borrowed the stamps from a friend so I haven't got a clue what they were but they were all cupcakey and cute :)
I love the combinations of black with pastel colours.
See, simple but effective.
I did some more that were in the magazine but I don't think I took photos of them, or I have lost the photos. Still, this is such a quick way to make cards for any occasion and it would look great with Christmas trees or Angels for quick holiday cards.
Kids would love this! Just stamp all over a piece of cardstock and get them to colour it in then cut it out in rectangles for homemade kids cards, simple!
