Hi!! Long time no see again. I can't help it around Christmas time, there just never seems to be enough time to blog.
I have been knitting like crazy and finished the big grey sweater that I was making for Mark. I have yet to get pictures because he pinched it as soon as it was finished and took it on a skiing trip. He only got back today so I will try and get some photographs of it soon - it came out perfectly and I am so pleased with it. More importantly Mark likes it and it is a rare thing to get a decent knitting pattern for a man's jumper, this one could pass for something from Superdry, I was even tempted to sew a little orange ribbon tag on the bottom :)
I have also knitted Amy a couple of tops. Firstly I have made her the Playful Stripes cardigan from a pattern by Alana Dakos (of Never Not Knitting). I think this is my favourite finish ever - I love it and it looks totally cute. I used the yarn that the pattern calls for which is the gorgeous Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino but I put in some purple because that is Amy's favourite colour.
I have also knitted Amy a nice chunky Owls jumper (purple, of course!) which is the same as the Owls jumper I did for myself - just littler :) I will post some photos of that one soon.
