I was in Fat Face the other day and I saw a lovely scarf, it would have been perfect with a coat Mark had just got for me but it was £25 for a crochet skinny scarf which I thought was quite excessive when I have hooks, left over yarn and free patterns from Ravelry at home so I went home and quickly crocheted one up :)
It is nothing like the one in Fat Face really but it gives the same effect and I absolutely love it!
The pattern I used is available from the Red Heart website for free. I comes with a charming crochet hat pattern but I know I wouldn't wear a crochet hat so I won't be doing that. I used Rowan Kid Classic yarn that I had left over from knitting my Lush and Lacy Cardy and it worked perfectly because I really wanted to have the slight fluffy boho sort of look to the finished project.
Anyway, I am going back into the Fat Face shop today to take a photo of the original scarf because it is not on their website and I will make this scarf again but multicoloured like the one in the shop :)
