I showed you a few weeks ago that I was organising my stamps. I am done, now I just need to make sure that I keep it up when I get new stamps.
What I have done is nothing fancy, nothing special but it works perfectly for me. When I am creating something I never knew if I have an appropriate stamp that I could incorporate in my project but now I do.
All I have done is take a composition book that I bought whilst on holiday in Florida (2 years ago!) an put all my stamped images in it. Simple, yes, but very effective for how I create. Now I can just pick up this scruffy little book and flip through it to find a stamp I can use for the perfect accent. I especially like that I can see all my sentiments.
It's not organisied into sections because, realistically, I wouldn't keep to that and the sections could then get full which could cause a problem. If you like this idea but want to be even more organised do it in a ring binder and then you can add pages as you need them to the sections.
I coloured randomly on the images just to make things stand out from each other when I am flicking through the book, again, not neatly or in any sort of order.
There it is, my scruffy stamp organisation, it work's great! Now I just need to get into the stamp boxes and tidy the stamps because after stamping every single one of them they have all been thrown into the boxes in a big pile. Maybe next week!
