If you follow me on Facebook you will already have heard the excitement about the Ronnie dress. One evening I was watching Eastenders, the day that Ronnie Mitchell went to jail for baby snatching, and I saw a dress I loved!
I quickly switch on Google Images and searched for 'black and cream polka dot butterfly dress' and after a few pages I spotted a picture of it. I was so thrilled when I clicked the image to see that this dress was not some expensive designery thing that I could never own but just a little dress from Peacocks! Peacocks? I have never been in there in my life, I never think of going there but after grabbing this perfect dress for a mere £20 I will definitely be checking that shop out now and then.
So I ordered it and it arrived beautifully wrapped and boxed in speedy time (all for £20!!) and I wore it at the weekend with my very favourite shoes (Red or Dead Mary Janes that I have had for a couple of years) and despite the fact that I am still sporting blisters from my not so perfect but still adored shoes I felt a million dollars (well, more than twenty quid anyway).
Love it! I just noticed (putting these pictures up together) that I am wearing a long silver necklace the same as Ronnie, that wasn't copied it was a fluke.
At the time of writing this post the website shows this dress is still in stock in sizes 10 and 12 and is still in the sale for £20. Go here if you want one too.
Pop back tomorrow if you are interested in a little crochet themed giveaway.
