Well I had to document all the crocheting that is taking place at the moment!

Here is a layout I haven't shared yet from the Scrapagogo August kit.

I just love that Girl's Paperie paper with banners all over it.  It's a bit fiddly to cut out and keep the banners in one piece but oh so worth it!

I just love the sunshine yellow colour of the core-impressions paisley cardstock.  I cut the banners from the Girls Paperie pattern paper and after attaching them to my layout I curled the ends around the end of a paintbrush so that they look like they are fluttering in the breeze.

I thought it was about time for another video :)

The layout was created using papers from the July kit from Scrapapgogo and some bits from my stash.  The photograph is of Mark and two of his sisters in the the 1970's :D

High in the Sky

Remember when we went on the Plymouth Eye?  Well the Scrapagogo kit for July is the perfect kit to scrap those photographs!

I started this layout yesterday intending to create a speed scraps video but first my camera didn't have any charge and then I charged it, positioned it and proceeded to create the layout ... without pressing record!

Anyway, here is the layout.

I placed my photographs in a vertical line down the page to emphasis the height of the ride and also stamped some Daily Junque borders (which I have in my stash) down each side of the layout.

You definitely do not need any extras to create beautiful layouts with this kit but I have added a few extras from my stash because they just went perfectly with the theme.

I used some of the Jillybean Soup twine from a previous kit to add the button embellishment. I also added some of the gorgeous blue braid from the kit along the join between the two papers.

and I added a couple of bits of bling to the carriages on the big wheel

I also used Glimmer Mist on the background of the paper, a Tim Holtz ticket and a fabric brad.

Sarah Speed Scraps - Summer in Spain

This layout uses some old photographs with the current Scrapapgogo kit (June 2011).  I love these pictures and the bright cheery papers really bring them to life.

This layout (video) shows how I use the negatives from punched shapes to create frames and embellishments.

That Bo Bunny trim is gorgeous!
