This week I have been busy altering something for a magazine commission and I have been covered in paint, gesso and multi-medium. Great fun!

Time to share what I have been doing this week, or more precisely What's on My Workdesk?

This is my desk as it looks this morning.

There are some lovely bright Kaisercraft papers, my craft mat and a rough list that I am making as I create this project so that it will be easer for me to write the article when it is finished.

If you turn to your right you will see this:

It's the November kit from Scrapagogo which I have just recieved to carry out my design team obligations.  The contents of that little box are stunning and I can't wait to get started with it!

Just a quick one today.  Firstly I want to apologise for only getting around a few desks in the last week, it has been a horrible week here as we have had some devastating news, my Mum is not well and I have been poorly and those of you that know me will know that Mark works away during the week so coping with three little ones whilst all this is going on is not great.

Anyway, after another worrying day yesterday I decided I really needed to take some time out and whilst I wasn't in the mood to do any creating as such I did a little colouring instead.

I have always shyed away from colouring little girl images with black hair because I have heard it is difficult so I thought I would give that a go with one of the little Gorjuss girls.  I am quite pleased with the results, it's good enough to use but next time I am going to be braver with the darker grey markers. 

I also had to have a little play with my Whiff of Joy angel because I just love her - I continued practicing with greys by giving her grey trousers then I added some lovely Spica glitter pen on the accents.

It's that time of the week again where we all show everyone a little of our crafting space just because Julia said so!

This week my desk has a completed Scrapagogo layout on it :)

Do you like my new pen holder?  I saw the Mother's Coffee cup in a local charity shop and thought the green and red would go perfect with my craft room and I loved the retro style of the design.  Not bad for 50p!  I also go the dictionary that it is sitting on (also 50p) to use for making flowers and other things.

The little cat stickers on my scraps box at the back are off of my t-shirt, Amy kept putting them on me yesterday and I stuck them there when she went to bed :)

Julia asked to see my Zig pens, so here they are.  I love having all these journaling colours to hand.

Last, but definitely not least!  Here is my ink pad shelf, I have filled it up already but when I get the rest of the distress inks I will just put the smooch accent inks in a box instead - they look so pretty up there though.

I was so happy that my little button bottles fitted across the top of the unit!

It's that time of the week again where Julia over at Stamping Ground asks us What's On You Workdesk?

My workdesk has a Scrapagogo kit on it as I am currently creating stuff for the October kit. You can just see two cards and two layouts waiting to be photographed :)  The box which looks like pink card is my newly sorted small card scraps which are currently sorted into colour, I am not sure how long that will last! The tripod which is so elegantly taped to my expedit unit is my professional (!!) setup to create the Exploding Hexagon Box video for yesterdays post.

As you turn to your right, beside the MM Carousel you will see the working desk which has part of the October kit strewn across it so there is a sneak peak of what you will be getting :)  The zig writer is not in the kit, I have one of the lovely boxes containing all the colours of zig writer and that purple one matches the kit perfectly for a bit of journal writing.

On the other desk is a box full of ink pads (which have overflowed a bit) ready to be put into my new ink pad storage rack which arrived yesterday but just needs to be put on the wall.

Did you notice my newly labelled distress ink pads, I love looking at them all neat and organised, it makes you realize what beautiful colours those distress inks have - love them!

Hi everyone, it is time for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday? again.  I can't believe how quickly that week has gone by.

This week there is precisely nothing on my desk crafting wise as I am in the middle of having a big tidy up.  I wish I hadn't started actually as I emptied the entire room into the kitchen yesterday and although my kitchen is about 15' long I was unable to even see the sink, any worktop or the oven!  It's amazing how much stuff fits into those Ikea Expedit units.  I was planning to have a purge whilst I tidied but I have ended up just cleaning all the units and putting eveything back pretty much as it was apart from a couple of things.  There just wasn't enough space anywhere to actually do sorting, I think I need to do one thing at a time.

So on to what is on my workdesk.  I still have a pile of pizza boxes to sort out, they are full of used Scrapagogo kits and product that has been sent to me to do other DT work.  I need to put the leftovers in the appropriate boxes (i.e. stickers, alphabets, paper, card, embelishments).

I have organised a couple of things.  Ever since I bought the small drawer units from Ikea I have been wanted to use one of them to store loose alphabets sorted by letter - big job.  I have also wanted to label the drawers.  That was the main thing I achieved yesterday so I can't wait to actually do some crafting to see how it works for me.

I also have one of the Making Memories desktop organisers and I tend to just throw anything in it that is laying around, I was beginning to dislike it but I have repurposed it and I love it now.  It is my new letter sticker holder and I love that they are so easy to flick through (all sorted by colour).

Right, now off to tackle those pizza boxes!
